Welcome To Hoist The Colours High, A Pirate RPG Site.
Site Info
This site is based off of Pirate Mythology, Pirates of the Carribeans, and anything else that has to do with the sea and it's wonderfull storys. Please, only make Pirates, Mermaids and Sea Creatures, horrible or wonderfull that can range from a Kraken to a Mermaid.

Announcements
Our plot will began when we have many members, which have Captains and a certain ammount of crew members. Please, we wish for you to only make up your ships name, if you plan on becoming a Captain. You may not change the name of the Flying Dutchman, The Blackpearl, The Empress or anyothers that have come from the movie. There has always been Nine of Eight, the ninth being the Pirate Lord, or the Keeper of the Code. The other eight are the lower ranking Captains who have their own ships.
Weather
The Autumn air is a bit chilly and the water looks as though it is about to become a fire but it isn't. The water will never freeze this Winter luckily. Summer and Spring will still be far away.
Plot
There is a song that is beign sung once again. The world trying to get rid of the Pirates again. Nothing has changed since Jack Sparrow and friends have been around and alive at that. Now that they are gone, new groups of Pirates will have to fight the wars against The Cilvil Army's.

 Plot Status We will not be having are plot yet for quiet a while now. Once we get more members, I will discuss with the rest of the Staff Members on what our plot is going to mostly be about. Due to your activeness, support and help, you may have your charecter chossen for part of the Plot. Are plot will take place during Summer Break, as then many of the members will have their time to come on the Computer and RolePlay again. [.+.CaptianWillow.+.]

The Newspaper

The Newspaper will be held once every month. This paper may have up coming info on the plot and items that the Captains might like to say. Random members may even be chosen to say their opinion on the site and it's activeness.

Tortuga

This place is where many of the Pirates make Port. It is a small town. The bar here contains many fights with all the Pirates. There seem to always become started by the sound of a gunshot for some strange and odd reason.

Davy Jones Locker

Note:Though Davy Jones is dead, we have decided to keep it known as Davy Jones Locker until there is a Captain to The Flying Dutchman.

When you die, you ussually go strait to Davy Jones Locker. The way that you go is when the Captain of The Flying Dutchman takes you there. In order to get out, you must figure out the meaning to get back to the world of the living:

"Sun Down and rise Up."

Parley Sandbar

This place is where you may meet in peace if you are enemy's. Only the Captains may come here. If you are not Captain, you must ask your Captain wether or not you can come here to meet someone.

The Frozen Ocean

A Ocean that is filled with millions of Icebergs and Glaciers. At the end of the Ocean, the Icebergs and Glaciers stop and many miles away is a huge Waterfall. You must go past here inorder to get to Davy Jones Locker, that is, if your still alive.

Rum Runners Island

The Rum Runners Island is an island that your Captain has the choice to Marron you at. Rum Runners Island has been restore to being used as a storage area for Rum Runners, were many bottles of Rum is stored underground.

The Turkish Prison

A rocky island with an apparently inhumane prison built atop its spires. Many people that are brought here are drag undergroud, put in a cage, drawing Crows near to eat the living person, put into a coffin and then thrown into the Ocean. You would do best to stay away from these people.

The Staff Boards

This is where the staff members will talk about the plot and polls for the plot and other things. Members are not allowed here, and any Staff Member telling anyone about what may happen in the plot for the Summer Break, will be given a warning. There is a password so that members who are not staff cant read what we are discussing and dont try to figure out the password, you'll be stuck here for hours.

NO advertising, that means no giving your site Url out on the c-box or in the fast chat. No hinting to join your site, so don't tell us about it, tell us in the 'Affiliating//Advertising board'. Also, no saying "Click my name!". You may give out the url to your site, only if you are givin permission by a/the admin.


+ Cursing+

Currently people may curse, Do NOT curse at somebody directly. You are aloud to curse, however don't go over board. Also, Please if somebody dislikes cursing just don't curse okay? There are some younger people on here, and some people dislike it.

+ Imposter's+

Impersonaters will not be tolerated, I can see IP's people, so don't play tricks or it will result to a ban. Okay everybody should have a different name, if two people go by the same name you need to work it out, I don't want anybody getting confused. Also member of this site if there is an Imposter, please don't yell at them and try to deal with it on your own come get an admin.

+ Fighting+

Come on I shouldn't have to even say this rule. Though for you n00bs out there I probably have to. I don't want any members fighting on this site, one fight can change a lot of things and friendship's. It also affects the other members that are just there, they don't want to see that. Take it to PM's or somewhere else, don't drag anybody else in this. If it continues you will be banned.

+ Religon+

Ok I don't want anybody bringing up religion. I don't want you talking it about at all, it just leads to something bad. You can believe what you believe in ok? So keep it to yourself. You can say you had to go to chruch or something I just don't want you ranting about your belief >_>

+ Be Respectful+

Again, another rule I shouldn't have to say, but of course I'm going to say it. Alright please be respectful to Staff, and members, and everybody else on this site. Please respect there feelings, and remember treat them the way you would like to be treated. (Cheesy eh? but follow it anyway.)
